Privacy policy

Piccolo Way is a trading name of NB Performance Pty Ltd (ABN 25 675 763 050), built and run by Tim and James, two business owners in Australia. This page explains what we collect when you use piccoloway.com or ask us about Piccolo Way, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect from the website

When you fill in a form on the site (book a call, join the early access list, or contact us), we collect what you type:

  • your name and email address (required)
  • your phone number, what you do for work, what you would like help with, and when suits for a call (all optional)

We also record a few things automatically with each form:

  • the page you were on and the page you came from
  • campaign tags in the link you used, if any (for example utm_source or a click ID from an ad), so we can tell which of our posts and ads people came from
  • your country, worked out from your connection, and your browser type

To keep spam out, the form uses a hidden field and a timer, and may show a Cloudflare Turnstile check. Turnstile looks at signals from your browser and connection, including your IP address, to tell people from bots. That check is run by Cloudflare under its own privacy terms.

Cookies and tracking

The site does not use advertising cookies and does not follow you around the web. Your light or dark mode choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) so the page remembers it. That setting stays on your device and we do not receive it. Our host, Cloudflare, may keep standard server logs and basic traffic statistics.

Why we use it

  • to reply to you, set up a call, and tell you about early access
  • to understand which of our posts and ads bring in real conversations
  • to keep the site secure and free of spam
  • to meet our legal obligations

We do not sell your information. We only email you about Piccolo Way because you asked us to or because you are in a conversation with us. You can ask us to stop at any time.

Where it is stored and who sees it

Form submissions are stored in a database on Cloudflare, which hosts this site. Cloudflare runs data centres in several countries, so your information may be processed outside Australia. Only Tim and James, and tools they use to run Piccolo Way, can see it. We may share information with providers that help us run the service (such as hosting, email and payment providers), and with authorities when the law requires it.

If you use the Piccolo Way product

If you start a trial or become a customer, the product handles the information you give it: your account details, your LinkedIn messages and notes you connect or paste in, your voice and business details, and the drafts it creates for you. We use it to run the product for you. To write drafts, the text is sent to an AI model provider, only to produce your drafts. We do not use your messages for advertising, and we do not sell them. Your messages belong to you. You are responsible for having the right to share your contacts' messages with us in a way that fits LinkedIn's rules.

How long we keep it

We keep website enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them. Customer account information is kept while you are a customer and for as long afterwards as the law requires.

Security

We use encrypted connections, restrict who can access the data, and keep software up to date. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach is likely to cause you serious harm we will tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not happy with how we handled something, tell us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top.
